What are the symptoms of a stomach ulcer?

Symptoms of stomach cancer..? or is it just an ulcer or something?

  • im a 15 year old girl, and i've been smoking for quite a few months. Last night i got major pains in my stomach, and it felt like all my insides were burning. Today when i woke up, i lost my appetite completely. I could hardly stand up because of the pains in my stomach, and i couldn't do number 2. When i ate something, i threw most of it up after. The pains still continue right now.. my friend told me it might be stomach cancer.. i really don't know.. help?

    At your age, stomach cancer is very unlikely; so is an ulcer. It's more likely GERD or simply bad indigestion. Try a few Tums or some baking soda, and give it a day. If you don't feel better, see a doctor. Also, if you're having trouble with #2, be sure to drink plenty of fluids.

It is most unlikely that a 15 year old will get stomach cancer from smoking (You should give it up before it gets a permanent grip on you). Neither your friend nor YA is competent to diagnose the cause of your stomach pain. Go see your doctor immediately!
