Windows media player, something isnt working properly?

Windows Media player (stop moaning!), WMP keeps 'jumping' during music file playback as if it's buffering or like a scratched record - how can I fix this? There's no problem with the files and other software works fine. I just prefer WMP and if anyone advises me to use iTunes I'l disown you. - my friend.

I have to say that windows media player is not good at playing videos. I have used it and have met many problem when playing some video files like avi, mkv, flv and etc. It is better to change to another free media player or free video player, I think the one - FreeSmith Video Player that I use now is a much better one than windows media player.
