The bad news is it will cost more to repair than buy a new TV. If you could see the circuit at the back of the screen, you would see just a mass of circuits really unrepairable. Take it to your local re cycle centre and invest in a Panasonic.

Newer plasma TV's have the same lifespan as any other TV.!! Average around 60,000 hours plus.. Hope you have a warranty.. Samsung is a good model, but repairs are not cheap on HDTV's...
