Do guys text back just to be polite?

Does anyone else hate when guys dont text back?!?

  • Ok so, I'm not going to go into great details, BUT there's this guy that I like. We flirted a lot, and honestly he came to the gym just so we could talk late at night & has shown me other strong signals. Anyways, it comes down to me texting him one night (conversation was kinda flirty) and he said hahaha you're so more asian than me :P I honestly lost my phone, so I didn't respond to him all day. However, the next morning I texted him saying yes I am, I dont know if thats a bad thing. & he responded by saying yeah, and no its not ;). Then he also responded 15 minutes later saying how are you? After that he never texted me back :( & yes I responded to that message asking how he was. My text was, Im good, just probably gonna hang out at the cafe? What about you?" It's been 2 days now. I know that it's like a texting war with him & I always see him texting in the gym. Did I do something wrong/is he not interested? Is he just busy? Or is he playing hard to get? Someone please help me! I don't want to contact him, I want to see if he contacts me :( have any of you guys expeirenced this before? p.s. I know it's his spring break, but I also know that he's working

    Sometimes guys don't text back because they read the text, and say something to themselves like, "I'll be right back but I'll get back to that" and they don't, and virtually forget about it. It's okay, your okay, it sounds like he likes you. Go for it! I may not be a boy, but my little brother does this all the time. He's 12. Trust me. Good luck girl!

Sometimes guys don't text back because they read the text, and say something to themselves like, "I'll be right back but I'll get back to that" and they don't, and virtually forget about it. It's okay, your okay, it sounds like he likes you. Go for it! I may not be a boy, but my little brother does this all the time. He's 12. Trust me. Good luck girl!

My boyfriend does the same and I hate it . But I think maybe he's seeing if you will start the conversation first . OR He might have forgotten to text back . But just text him and see if he can meet up at the cafe if he says "i'll try" it means he wants to but doesn't at the same time and if he saays "no, i'm busy" he mght be buisy OR He might bbe buisy but not that buisy where he can change his scedule but just chooses not too . Hope this helps .

Believe me I am in the same position and I fell your pain! You should leave it a few days or even a week and then contact him. You will never know why he's doing that but he obviously doesn't have any excuse not to reply! You won't sound needy if you leave it time, I will do the same.
