    I lived in the desert in Western Australia a few years ago, and the temps in Summer were regularly 115 - 120 degrees farenheight. In Winter, the temps dropped into the 70 degree range. In the California ( San Jaquin ) desert the temps can reach a daily norm of around 105 degrees, and in Death Valley, temps often reach 110 - 115 degrees in the daytime of Summer. AL
