Answer:
I don't know if these stories will actually scare you or not because these are more like urban legends, but they are real ghosts, so they should at least leave you wondering a bit. Resurrection Mary: She is a ghost form the Chicago area that thousands of people have seen and reported over the years. She is a young woman wearing a white ball gown. She is usually seen along a deserted patch of road at night. She will either ask you to take her to the Resurrection Cemetery (where she got her name from) or ask you to take her to a place by giving you the address for a place (which is the cemetery) or by saying that is is somewhere nearby and that she can tell you how to get there. When she is by the cemetery's gates, she will either follow you with her eyes or just disappear when you see her. When she is having you drive her, she may disappear from your car soon after getting in, when you turn to ask her for directions, or when she gets to her destination. Sometimes she will get out of the car and then actually walk into the cemetery. They call her Mary because she matches the description of the ghost matches that of a young Polish girl that was at a party wearing a white ball gown in the winter of (I think) the late 1930's. She had gotten angry with her boyfriend and decided to walk home by herself. She died on her way in the snow. She is buried at the Resurrection Cemetery. Munger Road: There are actually two stories here. The first is about the train tracks there and the other involves the forest near the tracks. The first one is that there was a school bus that got stuck on the train tracks there and got hit by a train and all of the kids and the bus driver died. The legend is that if you go there and put you car into neutral on the tracks, you'll see hand prints of the ghost kids trying to push your car off of the tracks to save you. I know two girls who have tried this. One was with a large group and they went at night but then got too scared and then ran away from their car. They came back about an hour later with other people and hadn't seen anything strange except lights, but that could have been fog, their imagination, or something else. They had probably been drinking/smoking something. The other girl went with one friend during the day. Her friend put the car into neutral in front of the tracks. She kept her feet away from both pedals and didn't move at all, but the car started rocking back and forth for a few minutes and that there were hand prints. I don't actually believe her story though. The second one is about a girl that was killed by the tracks. There is actually a movie that was made about this legend. There was a girl that was killed and I guess her body was buried in the forest. She is angry. She wants to either kill you too and is looking for you to kill you or she is just wandering in the area to tell you to be careful. Or maybe she is just wandering for no reason. The girl is seen either with her face bashed in and her body hurt and bleeding, or she is seen looking completely unharmed. She is usually seen either just standing in the trees at the edge of the road looking at you or she will appear on the road behind your car. She is usually only seen on the actual road if you actually stop your car, if she is seen at all. I don't know anyone who has seen her. Both of the Munger Road stories have been addressed the village authorities of the village of Bartlett (where the road is) and they said that there are a lot of kids that go to the area to see if this stuff is true, but the authorities say that they are not true and there are no ghosts anywhere in the area and that it is just a dangerous thing that people should stop doing. Resurrection Mary is definitely real, but I'm not so sure about the Munger Road ones.
