How to fight an order of protection?

How can you extend a protection order in Tennessee?

• Well, last year my mom filed a protection order from her boyfriend or whatever, because he is crazy. She was still contacting him and talking to him (when she wasn't supposed to) and stuff like that. I wondered if some how I could ask them to extend it (me being 13) because I don't feel safe around him nor will I ever feel safe around him. My mom says he changed and stuff but after what he did I really don't care about what she thinks. I wanted to call the police when he came over one time but I know my mom would probably have grounded me indefinitely. Would they have sent him to jail for violation the order? .... and what he did was one time my mom and him had a huge fight and she told him to get his stuff and leave but he didn't. She called the police but they said that because he was staying there for longer than 3 day and he had personal items there they couldn't make him leave. My mom had to leave for work so it was me my sister and him at my house by our selves. He started yelling at us and calling us names causing my sister to cry. We called our mom and she told us to call our father so he could pick us up. while we were calling our dad he disconnected the phone which made me go crazy. I know that if it requires my moms consent I wont be able to do it. All she ever does is defend him and take up for him. He didnt pay any bills or do anything. SHe always said a man would never come before us but I found that happen A LOT of times. I thought that she had stop talking to him until a few days ago when I heard her on the phone with him. I think the order may be up or close to it. I want to get it extended ASAP.
