How To Talk To A Guy?

How should I talk to a guy I like...now that pretty much everyone including him knows I like him?

  • Okay so there's a guy I really like, and yesterday he found out I like him because I lost a bet with my friends and I was up for telling him. I chickened out so I had my best friend tell him. Today I heard from some of my friends that in their gym class, someone yelled across the gym to the guy I like that I like him and a bunch of other stuff. Now, since yesterday, we don't talk. I really want to talk to him because we used to be good friends last year and I want things between us to be like that with the exception of what happened recently. I'm being a complete idiot and I keep asking my friends to go up to him and talk to him without bringing up me but at the end of the day today I told them to ask him "Are you mad at her or anything?" and they said that he said no everything was fine. I really want to talk to him, but I don't know how without things getting weird. I'm asking one of my friends to talk to him(and they've know each other forever so it'll be cool between them) and talk about me without making him feel uncomfortable. I feel like I'm doing the wrong thing. Help please!

    Why are you worrying what to do? You're in the best situation possible. Think about it: you know he's cool with you liking him, so he's obviously at least slightly attracted to you, if not more. All you need to do is seal the deal. Just be confident, walk up to him and ask him out. Whatever could go wrong from doing that would have already happened when your friends talked to him.

Be the first person to start a conversation and let him know your interested and your not taking no for an answer! The solution is SIMPLE (which isn't the same as EASY). Just go up to him and talk to him. Start with "Hello" and work your way toward, "Would you like to (grab a bite, hang out, whatever seems appropriate) some time?" Take it from a guy... it's really as SIMPLE as that. But it isn't EASY. ;-)

Dont be scared! Grab him while hes still free. This happened to one of my friends last year and she was too late. He found someone else. Please talk to him. If people have told him, maybe he likes you too?? Just go for it girl!! Before its to late.. BEST OF LUCK!!xx

I know this is stupid and personally I would never, ever have the guts to do this. Personally, I think you should say, "Hi," and from there start an easy conversation. If he's interested I think you would know. Try testing relationship waters after you've talked to him.

Maybe you feel that way because you aren't actually talking to him. Do you have each other's numbers? Ask him about homework if you have any classes together. Or just a simple, "Hi, *insert name here*!" might do the trick and spark a conversation.

And if he still avoids you, just go right up to him and tell him how you feel. You never know what's gonna happen if you don't try!
