What is my phobia/OCD called?

  • Ever since a couple years ago I have had this irrational phobia/OCD/fear of odd numbers (though I would not necessarily call it a fear). I literally get angered and bothered when I come into contact with something that is odd numbered. For example, when I am listening to the radio, and I turn up the volume, it makes me angry and I have to change it if it is on an odd number! Although, fives and multiples of 5 do not bother me. Someone please help me! What is this called!

    You got it. You have OCD. I've had it 40 years. I still have the same thing with odd numbers - with the TV volume. Got to be an even number. I had some therapy and am taking 500mg Trazadone for it, which is letting me live a normal life (except for little things like the volume, but that is tolerable).

Omfg I have that same problem! I have no idea what it's called but it goes so far as to if I have like m&ms the colors have to match and be an even number, especially the number 4... The number 3 just drives me insane just typing it I want to delete it but I won't get my point across but it's really irritating... Ok I gotta put the answer in so I don't have to see it anymore sorry I dunno what it's called but I know the feling and much more... Trust me!
