How long does a ear infection usually last?
-
I had a ear infection for about 3-4 days but treated it with antibiotics for 5 days. I had ear pain, decreased hearing and fullness in the right ear. Its been about 1.5-2 weeks after the treatment and I notice that my right ear still has decreased hearing. When I rub my fingers together next to both my ears, I can't seem to hear the friction of the sound clearly on my right. But the left I can hear the higher frequency sound just fine.

Answer:
They should last only a 3 to 4 days with having proper medication. If it's not fixed I would go to the doctor again.
