How do you add your friends in chess game?

Is there a good chess program for playing chess variants?

• I am looking for a chess program or website, but I play a lot of variants on the usual game, such as kamikaze chess, fischer random chess, Alice chess, chess with nightriders, and even some hexagonal-board variants. Short of Alice and hexagonal chess (which require extra/different boards), most of these can be played easily with a chess app that doesn't enforce the rules. Thus, I would like something which lets me turn off rules enforcement at the very least, but would be happier with something with more features for chess variants, such as using different-shaped boards, pulling up extra boards, or enforcing customizable rules. I mostly play with friends, so having a community of users to play with is irrelevant to me. But if I can get it as an Android app, or use it through my phone's browser, all the better. Thanks!
