Netflix is losing TV shows ?

I swear, I use to watch intervention, hoarders, the first 48 etc. on Netflix. I just bought netflix again and those shows don't even exist on it anymore? Does it make a deference that they are american shows, and i'm Canadian? Did they switch it so netflix USA can have those shows and not Canadians? Does anyone else notice this?
