Does anyone actually know any men who care about 'size'?

• Every time I've brought up the way women make fun of men's penises; joke about cutting them off; joke with each other in the locker room about the ugly ones they've seen; and so on, as a way of demonstrating the existence of penis envy, the women who answer have always disagreed. Every time, several of them - usually feminists, for some reason - have said that women do that just jokingly in response to the fact that men are the ones who make such a big deal about size. And every time, I've been surprised, because in my entire life, I've never met a single man who cared about it at all. I have seen men on sitcoms like Seinfeld or The King of Queens making a big deal over it. Just like I've seen men on those shows doing other things that the majority of men don't do in real life - caring only about beer and football, acting dimwitted and letting their wives treat them like children, and so on. These shows are catered, to some extent, to make women feel good about themselves, and so many of them almost universally portray men in a negative and innacurate light. So my question is has anyone here actually known a man who does make a big deal over size? And if so, were they actually making a big deal out of it, or were they an immature high school boy repeating a joke they heard on Seinfeld? Because that I can understand, and I may have known ONE boy who did that back in high school. And sure, maybe from time to time, boys will very rarely joke about who has the biggest - again, repeating jokes they've seen on Seinfeld. But as far as real men making a big fuss over size - I just haven't encountered that at all. I don't mean I've encountered it sparingly. I mean I've honestly never seen it in my life. Am I just hanging around the wrong men?

  You pretty much hit the nail on the head regarding women making more of a fuss about it than men. Men in general don't care much for their size for their own sake. They care about it because they know women have expectations of what a man should look like. Psychologists point out that women have penis envy. This can manifest in the form of women begrudging men for having the more dominant sex organ (for want of a better word) and as a result begrudge women who have men with a bigger one (psychologists what more can you) But honestly most of it comes down to women not wanting to sound vain. Get a woman drunk and she will tell you all her secrets and if you've ever seen the horrific vision that is a hen party you will know that women set a lot of stall by the size of the penis their partner has. Women are the only sex out of the two that find it impossible to empathise with the other sex regarding gender mutilation. you only have to look so far as women's talk shows and the jokes that are made about cutting off penises and listen to how they laugh about it. Men on the to her hand are appalled when an act of female genital mutilation occurs because we feel the pain of those poor women. Its something women do not identify with. Again though this points to penis envy that women have (if you believe psychologist) In short despite what women say they do believe that a larger partner means more masculine. for confirmation read any female erotic novel... everyone is a horse/bull
