Has anyone else experienced similar joint or muscle pain?

Pain in left breast, has anyone experienced this?

• So I know that you'll probably tell me to go to the doctor, but i'm already one step ahead of you and have an appointment booked on friday :) The thing now is that i'm starting to work myself up into a worried state and I guess i'm just asking around on here if anyone else has experienced this so that I can calm myself down (or worry more lol). So anyway, I have been getting sharp pains on the left side of my left breast. The pain is kind of in the crease between my breast and my arm pit if that makes sense. I did a self exam (or tried to anyway) and noticed that when I pushed in where the pain is located it aches deeply, kind of like a bruise. I know i haven't bumped into anything lately and it definately doesnt feel like a pulled muscle so i have no idea what it could be. OH and there was no lump. The other thing i noticed was that my areola on my left breast looked a couple of shades darker. The reason why I know this is that the shades of both of my areola's usually look EXACTLY the same. So any ideas on what it could be? I'm 22 years old by the way.

  Tara, I get that also from time to time and yes, it has bothered me as well. I have an apointment with my GYN. tommorow and will mention this as well. I am not scared and really you shouldn't be too scared either but I know how you feel.
