Sims 2, Getting Bella Goth back?
-
Now I've heard that supposedly if you have Cassandra abducted, Bella (the actual one, not the Strangetown one) will for some reason return. Is this true? I know that the other way of getting her back is with "boolProp testingcheatsenabled true" and SimPE, but I kinda struggle with SimPE. But is there anyone that can verify that it is true? Or is it some rumor people are making up?

Answer:
In SimPE, they had her grouped in with the maids, Grim Reaper, Nannys, all the dead sims in Gothier Green Lawns, and all the sims that died while you were playing. Look her up, if she has a pink dot in her picture profile, she can't be brought back. Strangetown was my hood, and opening SimPE, it will list every single active sim in the order they were created. Basically, the town's infants were at the bottom of the list, and the original townies, like the Beakers, Grunts, and Smiths, were at the top. Strangetown's Bella Goth was near the top of the list which indicates the game planners intended for her to be there to begin with. I could go into a complicated explanation on how to change her GUID so she becomes the original. You can use the SimPE to give her all kinds of memories. Look for her in the SimPE. If she is in the active sims bin, then she can be brought back, but I doubt it. I debated transferring Bella back to Pleasantview for a while. In the end, I decided that she was one of the town's prize catches, and married her off to my sim family's oldest son. My video I made for youtube of my Sims 2. See Bella at the end. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2MCw_ieXzBg&list=FLRRPiSl08Fs6Mt8sKMiux8g&index=1&feature=plpp_video
