Do 5 hour energy shots work?

Answer:
They are pretty costly. Around $3-$4 each (one dose). They do ten d to help but when it wears off, you can hit rock bottom pretty quick. I honestly would not spend another dollar on them but I am only one opinion. Take care.

They work for me- as far as energy shots (drinks) are concerned I only will do those or hydrive V- the orange flavor. Basically like a gatorade with a 5 hour dumped in it but about $2 instead of $3. I would certainly keep it a once in a while thing. I looked at the vitamin blend on the back of the bottle and just take the same niacin/b-vitamin/folic acid mix they put in the shot sometimes with my breakfast and coffee. Could be a magic feather in my hat but seems to help-I'm a mom of 3 and could use all the extra energy I can get.

they work but i WOULD NOT recomend drinking them. energy drink companies have done no long term studies to show their product's effect on people's health, but some people who drink them who are otherwise healthy are already starting to get heart attacks and stuff like that. im not saying that youll have a heart attack. just that they are terrible for you, especially in a concentrated amount like a "shot". theyre about $3 each but i would just suggest getting more sleep eating fruit

If you're tired all the time then get more sleep. Or have a doctor check you out. I was tired all the time and it turned out I had gallstones. I was also deficient in thyroid hormone. Also I was diabetic. Also I had sleep apnea. High cholesterol and triglycerides. Get all the stuff checked.

They won't do anything a cup of coffee doesn't do, and a cup of coffee won't cost you $2.50
