What course of career should i follow if i want to build a career in astrophysics?

  • I am an Indian student now in class 12.I am very interested in space science.What line of studies should i follow after +2 in order to have a bright career in astrophysics?Is it possible to achieve this by having a degree in computer engineering and then going for a course in astrophysics?Which colleges or institutes in India offer such courses?What other option do i have than computer engineering?Does India have good scope and enough development in this line of career?Or is it necessary to go abroad?Please guide me on what options i have and which would be the best way to reach my goal after +2
