How to write a decent Cv?

How do i write a CV and all that?

  • i have been looking at templates of cv on google but i am struggling to write my on CV because i have never worked i left school in 2004 went to college for 2years then became pregnant and have been a stay at home from august2007 to present. i want to start working now my son is going into primary school but how do i make my cv sound good? do i need refrences? as if i do i think i will struggle to get them. i would like to get a job in either some sort of retail(weither it working in supermarkets or that) but ideally i would like to work in a care home as i like helping people .

    Start by writing a skill list as a mother you will have good organisational skills. It is not just working skills that interest employers when writing CV's many forget the other skills they have. Also write a CV to match the job you are going for. We are told Not to give every employer the same CV A general CV might not promote the top skills needed for the job you are going for.

CV is usually for professional job like teachers, professors, reaserch assistants etc. and resume for other jobs mentioned by you. in a resume simply mention the following. Name address mailing address ( if any) e mail id mobile phone number Gender Date of birth Age height marital status. Name of spouse Children Qualification you may start from latest with name of college If you do not have experience not necessary Add you have the aptitude to learn and to do good work Regarding reference just add reference if required will be furnished.
