Summer job question?

Question about a summer job?

  • I applied for a job almost 3 weeks ago for the Parks and Recs Center near where I live. (I'm 18, in college, and am looking for a job for the summer.) The coordinator looked at my application in front of me, and then asked for me to send her an email with my schedule. I replied two days later, and she told me that the director for the position I applied for was looking at some applications, but that she, (the coordinator) would get back with me to set up an interview. I waited about two weeks and then sent another email to see what the status of my application was, and to get an idea about when interviews would start. I sent the email Saturday morning, and it is now Tuesday and I haven't heard back yet. What do you think I should do?

You should wait a while longer. The coordinator is probably busy with deadlines and some more important things to take care of before interviewing you; just be patient. In the mean time, you should still consider looking for other opportunities because something like this is never 100% guaranteed.
