How do I become a private travel consultant?

I am leave school to become a travel consultant but im not sure if i would like to do it as an apprenticeship?

  • Answer:

Apprenticeships are a great way of learning new skills relevant to your line of work. You'll get paid a wage and be learning new skills at the same time. It's also a great thing to have on your CV, not only the work experience you have gained at the workplace, but also a qualification to prove you can do it! Apprenticeships won't cost you a thing, and if you're not enjoying it or want to stop for a while you can. Hope this helps. It's pretty much the same as becoming a police officer, but it's harder to get into as they only need so many per station. Were as they are always taking on Police. You will need to do a lot of training, as pass lots of tests. Hearing, Fitness, Health, Reading, Response ECT. Contact you're local Fire Brigade and ask them about it. It will be an intense training course you will have to do because you're aloud anywhere near the job. They also only take on people for training at certain times. It's a lot like joining the army. Just because you have applied, and gone to the training days / weeks even months - does not mean you will even get in. You might find out you have a slightly death ear. This will go against you.
