Which of these A-levels are best for a degree in law?

Degree and career options: Social Work and Law.?

  • I'm aiming towards becoming a social worker but due to the lack of available social work courses here, I'm force to choose between other alternative. One of the alternatives is Law. I'm a humanities student who prefers and excels at courses such as sociology and history. Anything apart from that, especially math, I'd have to struggle to ace. Anyway, what's troubling me is the idea of studying law. I assume it to be tough especially for me since I've never been one who is able to fixate and apply onto concepts so closely to the book. (Which is what I assume with law, with its acts and laws to return and relate back to.) However, I do realize how valuable a Law degree would be if I had the chance to continue a Masters degree in social work in my life later on. How is studying law like? What are the materials and course structure (theory/practical %)? How far can I go with the law degree if I were to decide against practicing law as a lawyer? And would it be at all likely that I'd be able to enter the social work force with that law degree? Apart from that, I've come across some career options highlighted by some schools and one that I'm not entirely clear on is Public Service. I get what it means but how would I exactly practice that with the law degree? Thank you in advance :)
