What jobs are more stable and secure?

What are some enjoyable, secure high paying jobs (preferably in Science)?

  • I'm a senior in high school and I'm at that point where I'm really thinking hard about my career choice. I was originally thinking Computer Science, but I really feel like I'll be miserable being a programmer... I'm looking for a high paying job that I would enjoy working at. I'm willing to put lots of hard work and effort in as long as it's for something that appeals to me. Money isn't everything for me, but the cold hard truth is that you need money in today's society, so I'm shooting for a career that makes around or above 100,000 a year, preferably in the sciences, and I'm willing to put a lot of work into it. -I'm good in math, and can see things mathematically, formulating my own equations. -I'm a logical thinker -I get along with people and am a confident communicator -The natural world fascinates me -I've been playing video games all my life -I've been drawing all my life and would say I'm a pretty good artist -I'm a fast learner -I live in California Anyone have any suggestions? :)
