How to play skyrim online on pc?

  • i saw my friend took a screen shot of him playing skyrim and it had like a chat box in the right corner and i was like huh? cause i cant talk to anybody when i play it, i do play it on a pc so idk if that has anything to do with it, skyrim is the only video game ive played and i just started playing it like a month ago so im kinda new to this stuff, what do i have to do to play it online? i tried going to options when i open it but there isnt anything that says play online

    skyrim does not come with multiplayer, but there are 3rd parties out there who might have created a multiplayer mod for the game, the game itself is single player only you have to search websites to find the download
