    You can't without backward compatibility :( playstation did't make the slims with that accessory so if you do not have the old ps3, the fat during 2007, it's not possible thankfully, i own a 80 gb fat :)

You will need the old, fat PS3 that was released 2006-2007. You could tell that this PS3 can play PS2 games by simply checking if it has 4 USB ports. Or you could check the back for a sticker with a model CECHA_ _, CECHB_ _, CECHE_ _ following 2 numbers (represented by the underscores). If you want to buy a backwards compatible PS3 (a ps3 that can play PS2 games), search in Amazon for good deals. They are quite expensive and very hard to find. If you have a new slim PS3, there is no possibility for it to be able to play PS2 games because Sony removed backwards compatibility since 2008. Hope this much is enough to help you! :D
