Is the new xbox 360 loud?

Do i need a new xbox 360?

  • I have an xbox 360 and i have had it about 5 years now. In i would say in early march i started to get the 2 red rings of death. At frist i thought it was just me overplaying but after like not playing my xbox for about 2 weeks i came back and about 20 minutes into gaming everything just stopped and the TV just turned off and the xbox had the two red rings. I ignored these signs and just kept playing but each time i played it did the same thing. I then looked online and found all this info about it and i followed it all and it was from the xbox help site or whatever. But even after all that it still was shutting down. Plus the whole time the xbox was really loud sounding like a fan. I then decided to look into my xbox and i saw dust so i used a small vaccum to clean some of it out but it still overheated up and shut down with the 2 red rings. Do i need a new xbox 360? Thank you.

    If your Xbox is getting over heated buy a NYKO cooling fan @ Gamestop If that doesn't work turn your Xbox on then off and hold the power down for 10 second If that doesn't work register your Xbox and request repair It is in US board of manufacture and production's terms and release that they have to fix any of the problems that CAN'T be fixed without you or anybody else doing damage to it

Yeah you do but microsoft might repair it for free if you send it in. The red ring problem was a few years ago but i sent mine in and because it was microsofts fault it was happening they gave me a new one free.

You will most likely need a new one but first I would go to best buy or somewhere like that to see if they can fix or not.
