Why are my private videos not showing on YouTube channel?

Fear of showing myself on YouTube?

  • I lurk around Youtube and usually watch dvd updates and different things like that. However, I have my own channel but haven't shown my face. I am in one of my videos in a animation but viewers might not know its me. I want to post updates and vlogs about different things. My fear isn't what the world thinks. I am fine with showing myself to the strangers. The thing that stops me is if someone I know in real life stumbles on the video. I don't know a lot but maybe my co-workers might see the videos. Should I start showing my face. Is just uploading videos with me get easier if I start to do it more?

You should only put yourself on YouTube if you're really proud of the video and want the whole world to see it, including your friends, co-workers and future employers - because they will eventually see it at some point in time.
