(though they probably wouldn't know) as the saying goes, anything that's posted online, may be "forever" and might possibly be found and read someday by any given person. but if you post under an assumed nickname, AND try to make sure you don't post extreme stuff you don't want read (not to mention illegal statements and information), you might be pretty safe. What's sensible to do, is going to depend on the person and the situation.
