How to Unfollow A Blog?

How do you unfollow a deactivated Tumblr account?

  • I know how to unfollow people on tumblr but when the person deactivated their Tumblr, it wont let me unfollow them. I go to the following list and I press the "unfollow" button, but it says "error" and obviously I can't go onto their blog to unfollow them because it isn't there. Please help. Thank you.

    You need to wait until Tumblr updates their database and that deactivated tumblr account dissapear from the people you are following.

Let's say you follow 69 people. At the side of your dash, there's a thing that says "Following 69 blogs" (because you follow 69 blogs, but it's only an example) So you click on that. When you click on it, you're gonna be redirected to the place where you can see your Tumblr crushes (most liked and reblogged blogs) and of course the people you follow. just look for the blog you wanna unfollow, and if the blog you follow deactivated it will be seen there. (For example you follow the staff on Tumblr then they deactivated, on the page it will say something like staff-deactivated-10-10-10) If that didn't work, I don't know what will, 'cause that's what I usually do..

I'm having the same problem, but I actually can unfollow people who deactivated their accounts, I think that you can't unfollow people who blocked you...I'm not sure about it but I just unfollowed a deactivated blog but I couldn't unfollow a blog that might have blocked me... *Note: When a blog has the "deactivated on bla bla bla" in the name of the blog, is because the person has deactivated, otherwise they're still there.
