What's the average salary for someone in marketing?

Management or Marketing Management?

  • Management or Marketing Management? I can't decide what to major in and I can't find too much useful information on google. I was wondering which major makes the most and which has the most math involved in it. Could someone give an estimate salary and list of potential jobs for the following majors? : 1) Entrepreneur, Innovation and Technology (Management) 2) Human Resource Management (Management) 3) Marketing Management (Marketing)

  • Answer:

The first one would likely have the most math of all as it could include elements of 2 and 3. HR and Marketing have some math too. HR for payroll, performance metrics, attendance, etc. Marketing for ROI, campaign performance tracking, etc. Salaries would vary greatly with Human Resource probably the highest in terms of fixed pay while marketing would have more scope for bonuses, incentives, etc. Entrepreneurship would be the riskiest but would also have the chance for the highest payday of all.
