Why is Proactive drying out the skin around my eyes... and creating black circles?

Proactiv dries out skin because it's supposed to absorb oil, but sometimes it absorbs too much! You're supposed to moisturize your skin if it gets dry. I would recommend seeing your doctor and getting a prescription acne treatment, it works TONS better. As for the dark circles, I'm almost positive that the Proactiv is unrelated. It could just be a lack of sleep.

I used to use that too it worked but then it didn't I recomend u not using proactive and returning it with yr complaint proactive is not for everyone because ppl have diffrient skin so consult with yr docotor

I make sure my eyes are wrinkle-free, by using eye cream DAY and NIGHT. In the AM when I put on makeup, I use a creamy concealer. I've tried MAC and CLINIQUE, I think any brand will do, as long as you have tested it against natural light and that the concealer matches your skin. Look at Oprah w/o makeup! It's all the work of concealer! Better have a concealer over your dark areas than not have any. It makes you look old and haggard. Guys find it a turn off! Happy hunting for the right makeup!
