How do I get rid of acne and an even skin tone?

Have you ever tried a tomatoe? Tomatoe has spf-50 chemicals in it..... most time our acne could be caused by the sun, lack of water, or even stress. So maybe to much sun is also causing your acne. try taking a slice of a tomatoe dipping it in sugar and rubbing on your face, let it sit for about 10min. and wash off and then use your regular face wash afterwards. continue that monthly and let me know the results Also, try using Velocity by Mary-Kay, the morning time use the Velocity face clenser, and then take a cotton ball and rub it on your face with Mary Kay's Blemish Control Toner(Formula 3) and at night do the same routine, but before you sleep use the Mary-Kay acne treatment , and sleep with it on(somewhat like a facial treatment every night) If you stay light on the make-up, you will surely see results in within a week or 2 .... :) Enjoy

pro active cleans acne away really well, its expensive though! viche works well and if youre looking for something cheap, clean and clear is a good one!

You could try steaming your face, it really helps. Boil some water and put it in a bowl. Put your face over the bowl and let the steam cleanse your face for a good 10 minutes or so. Make sure to wear a towel over your head and the bowl sort of like a curtain so that the steam doesn't go anywhere else but your face. Your face will be wet when you take it out from under the towel, this is a good thing. Then straight from this you wash your face with any face wash you have, then use really cold water to close up the pores so no dirt can get back in the surface of your skin. Then moisturise as your face will be quite dry. Do this every so often and it should help!

I have the same problem with acne:/. Oatmeal and honey should help. What i do is get half a spoon full of honey and mix it with a little oatmeal just until it's very well mixed together and then put it where the acne is. Leave it on for 10 to 15 minutes. Rinse it off with cold water and moisturize. As for the toning i have found that lemon juice is supposed to help you as a natural toner and it brightens your face. What you can do is apply lemon juice on your face leave it for 10 to 15 minutes, rinse with cold water and moisturize. Hope this helped ^.^

Baking soda for the even skin tone plus apple cider vinegar hepls with killing bacteria and drying the oil up.

I use Cetaphil and Olay. The trick is to wash and cleanse with warm water, but when you're done rinse again with cold water. That'll close up your pores and not allow more dirt and oil into them.
