Did you ever get a tattoo removed?

Can i get half of my tattoo removed and then redone?

  • ok so i got my city across my whole chest from shoulder to shoulder that reads out COMPTON but the tattoo artist idk wtf was wrong with the dude but when he positioned the letters he didnt put em aligned so if you look at my chest the tattoo looks like COMP T O N the last three letters are really seperated from eachother and the T is lower than all the letters. Another thing that really bothers me is that if u look at me straight ahead the N is barely visible since its so far apart from the rest of the tattoo the N is more on my damn shoulder than chest so i was thinking is it possible to just get those last 3 letters laser removed then after a while get redone? i wasnt sure if you could do it since it is such a big tattoo ??

You can't just blame the artist, you had final approval when the stencil was applied. But yes you can do that. It's going to be expensive though.

Well... I can tell you that if you are planning on covering it up, Roses are a good way to go. I have a friend who had a word tattoo on his inner forearm, and completely covered it with black, dark shaded roses that look amazing. As far as removal goes... not only will it hurt worse than the tattoo, it will be severely more expensive, take a lot longer and possibly leave an unsightly scar. I would recommend finding a talented artist to give u a consultation. If you want my honest advice, when it comes to tattoo's, you get what you pay for. I know people who get tattoos from friends of a friend or a brothers sisters cousin who just got out of prison... or just plain go to a horrible shop, without doing the research. Tattoo's are serious, they are permanent, and regardless of what people say, they will change how people look at you. I would find someone who has an extensive portfolio with work comparable to what you're looking for, And go from there. If you're looking for a deal, especially with a cover-up, you're making a mistake. Be prepared to pay upwards of $120+ an hour. Hope it helps, and best of luck.
