How do I start a design blog?

Hi everyone! I have a lot of wonderful and unique designs that I do for myself and family members. I have gotten a ton of compliments on them and would like to maybe start a design blog of my own. I see that alot of people have them and would like one as well. I dont know how or where to begin and would love as many suggestions or ideas on how to go about this. My blog would focus on one of a kind home decor, furniture makeovers, window covering ideas, etc. Please give me any advice you may have. I appreciate any ideas out there!! Thanks!

If you go to wordpress.com it's pretty straightforward and fun to start a blog. There are also lots of tutorials online for any questions you'd have about posting and what not. Here's my blog which is wordpress powered www.thefightingeagle.com . It's fairly picture based, which I'm assuming yours would be too. There are very good templates too and they're customizable. Have fun! Let us know when you get it going.
