What are some good 6x9 speakers with a good bass response?

What are the best 6x9 speakers/subs with the best best bass?

  • I have no speakers in the rear deck of my car, and it needs a little more bass. I have 3 high/mid speakers in dash, two bass door speakers (Okay but not the best), and then 2 mid speakers in the rear doors. I don't really want to buy a 10 or 12 inch sub and put it in the trunk of my sedan, so I figured there had to be a decent set of 6x9s out there. I have a set of 6x9 pioneer speakers a friend gave me that are 3-way, but I want more bass rather than high/mids/lows, as I think that could make the audio even more high and mid dominant. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

    Look into the Alpine Type-R 6x9 component series, not the coaxial, the components. They get pretty loud off the head unit, but even louder with an amp. I'm currently rebuilding my alpine sound system Best of luck to you (:
