Why does my monitor have a pink hue to it?

What is this purple hue on my LG Flatron EW224 monitor? Is there an easy fix?

  • I turned off my computer the correct way but I forgot the game I was playing "Amnesia" was not completely turned off after I exited from it. After turning on again, 1st monitor wouldn't turn on (black screen) although Windows 7 showed reboot blue screen & had rebooted, then after pushing the 3rd button on my monitor the screen turned on and off a few times then finally stayed on but there's a purple hue on the desktop & on the game play mode and everything. Please what can I do to fix this flub?

    i'd check your connections... make sure the plugs on both ends of the cable that connects your monitor to your computer are hooked up right and that there are no bent pins in them and that the plug is snug (doesn't always have to be tight but snug)... after that... look at the color balance of your monitor... you might want to try to download the very latest driver for you monitor... doesn't take a lot to corrupt driver software some days.
