Why won't my laptop screen turn on?

  • I have a an emachines E627-5082 laptop. I woke up this morning and first thing I did was turn on my laptop. It started up like normal all the led lights lit up. But the screen did not turn on ever. I was just using it normally last night before I shut it down for the night. And now this morning the screen will not turn on after unplugging it, taking the battery out, and ressetting it. So what's wrong with my laptop?

    If you hear the windows sound after a while then you may need to press FN + F4 until the screen comes on

Try to use advanced booting to trouble shoot.. See if tapping the F8 key gets you into it .. If so. have it do the start up repair. At start up , start tapping on F8 ..
