Problem with Acer crystal webcam-Acer 4738z?

  • I have chicony acer crystal webcam on my acer 4738z (window 7) but the resolution is blurry and dark. There is no clarity at all. I tried to installed suyin/liteon acer crystal webcam ( which was with the installation CD) but no joy at all. Now, my question is- what are the compatible webcam for Acer 4738z (window 7) Is there anyway possible way that I could optimized webcam for lower light Would be highly appreciated and grateful if someone could kindly help me.

    by default, acer products have a hidden partition that contains the drivers/softwares (factory default)--and what you need to do to have the appropriate driver would be to do a factory reset --or you can just do driver reinstall by going to acer folder --recovery management -- reinstall the driver you need for the web camera ----unless you installed a retailer version of your operating system --now, if you did that already and you are still having issue with your hardware ---acer provides 1 year warranty and would be able to replace the webcam hardware for you.
