How to color a part of the text c#?

Having trouble selecting, moving and re-sizing part of a PDF in Photoshop?

• I have a PDF that my boss wants me to edit for work. When I scroll over the different parts of the PDF, I can see the RGB color numbers, so I know that Photoshop can "see" the different parts of the file. And when I use the marquee tool and make a box around any part of the text/image and press delete, the selection deletes. I want to move and re-size part of the PDF. I make a box around the part of the PDF I want to change using the marquee tool, click the center of it, and move the box around; however, the text inside the box doesn't move. I don't understand why I can delete it, but I can't move it or re-size it. Any ideas? I am obviously quite new to Photoshop, so I appreciate the help.

  By default, Photoshop protects the original background layer. The first thing you should do is duplicate the background layer as follows: 1. Open the Layers Pallet (Window > Layers) 2. Right click on the background layer and select Duplicate layer 3. Hide the background layer by clicking on the eyeball icon in the layers pallet 4. Perform your edits on the duplicated layer 5.
