Why do ppl marry for love & not companionship, when love does NOT conquer all, be it true love or infatuation?

marriages break up because modern people have become intolerant and fickle minded.They can't learn to adjust and compromise which is the base of any marriage.

ONE, only those relationships based on Self-Love are susceptible to breakup/ abuse. But True Relationships/ Marriages, based on True Love, last forever. TWO, the couple may lose their love for each other? The other word for losing love is losing passion. Passion loses, only when u practice Self-Love (1). But if u practice True Love (2), the passion always grows, because True Love is a perfection of concept. Those are the only 2 kinds of love that exist in this world (not as feelings as people mistakenly believe, but as abilities). THREE, why u do need a friend/ companion, if u can have your greatest friend and lover in one? Marry for friendship/ companionship? What are u talking about? The definition of Marriage: the merging of 2 minds, hearts, bodies, souls and visions, into 1 entity, 10 times more powerful than the 2 individual ones combined. When u are Truly in love-this feeling is reached from practicing True Love-u will be happier, more complete & powerful, because the measure of love u give is actually the measure u receive: the life and love we create is the life and love we live. In other words, when u support, complete, inspire, fascinate, excite, respect, strengthen someone, and believe in her-the more u practice True Love to her-u are actually doing all of those to yourself. Below are the proofs why u will never lose passion (characteristics of True Love): a) More growth: Thinking about your growth and your mate’s growth plus the growth of your future children makes u grow and learn more and faster. If u never stop impressing/ respecting your partner each day, your growth/ passion never stops either. Your faculties are more used than if thinking only of your own growth. b) More sense of purpose : your life becomes meaningful because u try to find purpose every day (to make the other person truly happy). If u live for yourself, mathematically speaking, u have a Self-Purpose. But when u have your spouse and children, if u truly love them, u would live for their purposes too: True Purpose of Life. The whole idea/ essence of a True Relationship: to complement/ help each other to become more compassionate/ passionate/ unselfish/ purposeful/ patient/ mature/ excited/ productive/ stronger/ wiser. c) Your world is more beautiful: if u can find ways to see the beauty of your lover’s and children’s worlds, u can see the beauty of the world in its entirety. All the philosophers in the world, including the Atheist ones, plus God, Jesus, believe this: to reach the highest level of happiness (True Happiness), or to reach completeness is to think as little as possible about yourself, and as much as possible about others. Meaning? U will never be completely happy/ totally complete as long as if u still practice True Love. d) More compassionate. You feel problems, troubles, moods, needs, desires, grief from another’s point of view, understanding them as if your own, while serving other’s necessities above your own. In time, u can sense something wrong without being told, u can see/ hear/ feel with another’s eyes/ ears/ heart. e) Higher productivity. When u inspire your lover in her/ his work, thoughts, mind, imagination, creativity, u actually inspire yourself. For example when u make a CD of songs for her/ him, designing the CD cover and book, the better u make the CD, the more inspired u will become. Your creative pores are the most opened. U reach your highest senses. Your focus is like a laser light. Your imagination is the greatest. f) Stronger: u know that there is always someone out there who will be with and for u, no matter what happens; someone supportive of your potential, goals, and aspirations; someone to give u advice and words of encouragement, when your confidence levels are low. That someone is the one person who is all for u, never fails u, never lets u down, and will be standing by u when needed.
