Is it safe to buy contact lenses online?

Where can I buy trustworthy colored prescription contact lenses online for cosplay?

  • My sister and I both need contact lenses for our Ciel Phantomhive, and Alois Trancy cosplays, but we both have dark eyes, nearsightedness, and would prefer a website that people really trust, and that asks for a doctor's note. My sister wants contact that resembles Ciel's right eye (Basically a bold purple contact with a star in the middle) it doesn't have to be perfect, but close enough so she can be happy about it. I'm not too concerned about mine, because blue contacts are easy to find, but I've had trouble looking for "Ciel-like" contact lenses sold from a trust-worthy site, so I wanted to hear people's answers about it. I want a website that HAS to come in contact with my optometrist, or then they just seem shady and I want to help my sister, not hurt her with some potentially dangerous things she puts in her eyes. Thank you for reading about my problems

So sorry :( but here's a few http://www.aclens.com/halloween-contacts.asp < Check out gaga blue & they have safe circle lenses http://www.coastal.com/halloween-lenses/cHalloweenLenses-p1.html?ilid=lnav < comparable to these two ^v http://colormecontacts.com/ < good range http://www.aphoticcrypt.com/contacts.html < has some light contacts that are made for dark eyes Make sure that when you order them, the contacts are opaque. Some light contacts and enhancers don't show up on dark eyes. if you haven't gotten a prescription yet, it'd be a good idea to ask for colored contacts samples. That way you can try on the blue and maybe not have to buy an actual pair. Not quite sure about the nearsightedness issue, ask your eye doc. I'm sure you could order some through them. :) Goodluck! All websites require prescriptions and are FDA approved.
