How do you get rid of bad allergies?

How to get rid of allergies eyes?

  • I'm in year 9 now and ever since i started high school in year 7 i have had bright red eyes. they are so so so itchy and i can't wear makeup or perfume because it makes them worse. i have been to an eye specialist but he just gives me eye drops that never work. i have also been to my local doctor as well but he couldn't help either. sometimes i rub my eyes so much that it feels like there is one bit of sand in there and its really irritating and also there is sometimes i gooey kind of thin substance that covers my eyes and makes my vision blurry until i get it out of my eye. they water alot too. i really want my eyes to get better because i have been teased over it and called names like stoner and some would asked if i have been smoking pot. i have tried that many different eye products and eye drops and nothing has worked and wasted alot of money trying to fix them. i also sneeze lots and have to blow my nose heaps. i have had a blood test for common allergies and the tests came up with nothing and every morning i wake up there is sleep all around my eyes and they are puffy and sore. sorry about all the writing but i just want my eyes to be better and to be able to wear eye makeup and other things without my eyes getting irritated.

poor kid. i know this is going to sound crazy but...... you could be allergic to laundry soap, or body soap or lotion or perfume that you are using,Even the dyer sheets could cause this. have you switched soaps in the last couple yrs, or lotions? could be your shampoo and cond. these things are nothing but frangence and chemicals! lots of people have reactions like yours to those kind of thing. you'd be surprised! is it all yr round? i have all sort of allergies, specially to chemicals, makes life a challenge. Im allergic to the dyes in the fabric of some clothing, car exhaust, other people perfume, I cant wera any tall, and that includes lotions that have perfume in them, which is almost everything lol it sucks! however in the spring summer I definitly react to pollen, from grass flowers everything, which make my eyes itch SO bad, i rubbed so hard i thought i would go blind, specailly bad when peopl were out mowing there lawns, and the flowers were just starting to bloom, thats a typical pollen allergy. im 55. this started when was about your age too. 'when i was about 35, i was standing in line at a pharmacy waiting to get something. i was rubbing my itchy red sore eyes, and this young boy about 10 yrs old infront of me said, oh you should try using a hot, wash cloth on your eyes and face, I thought for sure this would never work, I ALWAYS only used a nice cool wet cloth, it gave temporary comfort but didnt get rid of the itch, this kid was so sweet and so earnest, I tried it when i got home. I was amazed!!! take a clean wash cloth get it completely wet with hot water( not so hot you burn yourself) but just ALMOST to the point of being to hot, wash your hands first, then take the cloth and wash your eyes, take the cloth and get right in the corners of them closet to your nose, gently rub them with the cloth, do the same to your lower lid, then go across your whole eye, slowly for a about 10 seconds, then just hold it there for a little bit longer, rinse the cloth with hot water and do it again to your eye. this gave me almost instant relief!!! its free doesnt cost anything at all, if you have pets make sure you dont touch your face after petting them. but if you do, do the washc loth trick. before you use the cloth, rinse it really good with water, for a bit, to try and get any left over laudnry soap and stuff out of it, this letter to longer to type, than it will for you to do the washloth trick. . pay attention to things around you and look for certain patterns, like every time you wear a certain sweater it get worse, or every time your with a certain friend, or house, or car. also that "sandy feeling" you spoke of and the goo, thats called BLEPHERITIS. its not deadly it very very comon millions of people have it. they dont really know what causes it. its a form of yeast. sounds yucky. i know this cause i worked as an Optician for about 20 yrs, I believe its to chemicals in the air, did you go to an M.D. or an eye doctor? I guess it doesnt really matter there really isnt a magic eye drop for it. its more a matter of playing detective on your own. good luck, if you find your starting to become super senstive to other things, type in chemical injury, or MCS, and read about it there. Im sorry about all the writing, but i just want your eyes to get better too! good luck!!!!!
