What is a "mock pack?

What happens to a person's 6 pack if they stop working out?

  • I am currently on my way into getting a 6 pack. I am, and always was, a skinny person with some muscle and little body fat (thanks to my fast metabolism). If I do gain a 6 pack, I will also gain body mass. However, I am starting a job in 6 months that I know REALLY limits my time compared to now, so I will probably stop exercising and eat foods that would be considered unhealthy if i were dieting. If I do get a 6 pack, and then loose it, how would I look? Would I have more fat and look more flabby compared to now, or would I return to the same look as I have now (no six pack. Just skinny with some muscle)? I most likely will still care about how I look, and will not want to be fatter in the future, so is it worth it getting a 6 pack right now before I get the job?

  • Answer:

Most likely what will happen is that you'll gain a layer of fat that will cover your 6 pack. You won't exactly "lose" it. It'll just get hidden under a layer of fat. Proper diet and exercise burns calories and fats that will help maintain a lower body fat percentage, giving you that 6 pack.

It goes away. Atrophy is the process by which bodily mass is reduced. Muscles atrophy (become smaller) as you neglect to exercise them. If you gain fat and stop doing exercises, you will not have visible abs. You would go back to whatever you looked like before, and you would be fatter if you were fatter than you were before. I think you can do whatever you want... If you only care about having abs, it's not a huge investment to do some situps. Skinny people tend to have visible abs just due to low body fat. If you're skinny, it takes less than ten minutes a day to "get abs."

Of course its not true. I was married 18 years to a cheat and an alcoholic. He use to tell me all the time no one would want me especially with 2 children. But I divorced him anyway. About 7 months later when I was out with some friends I met a great guy ( wasnt looking) we will be married 21 years this month. You did the right thing. But you really need to work on the jealousy. He is right about that .. And the only way to do that is to stop being so insecure. And once he is out of your life I think that won't be to hard. He was the one making you feel that way about yourself. So he actually did you a favor today. Grab some of your friends and go out and celebrate your freedom from him. Tomorrow is another day. You may miss him for awhile but eventually you will glad to have gotten rid of all the drama in your life and relish the peace and quiet. The being able to do anything you want and go anywhere you want. And not be exhausted with worrying about weather he is cheating on you or playing games all day on line. Summer is almost here get out there and meet new people and make new friends. For starters, try a new hairstyle, clothes, makeup .. Give yourself a complete makeover and start feeling good about yourself again. When you walk around confident and with a smile on your face that is when guys will start to approach you and want to get to know you. You know what you don't want ! And never look back or take him back. You are so going to get over him.. I promise..
