Dental Assistant Textbook?

  • Hi Everyone! I am going back to School In September to take up Dental Assisting at a local trade/technical school. I would like to get a little bit of a head start on some of the material to be covered and hoped somebody that has already been through the program could recommend a good textbook for this subject? I know there are a ton of textbooks on the market for this subject but if there was a good one that worked for you please let me know! Thanks!

Here are a few i read Title: Dental Assistant (Dental Assisting Procedures) Authors: Alice E. Pendleton - Pauline C. Anderson Title: Safety Standards and Infection Control for Dental Assistants Authors: Ellen Dietz-Bourguignon Title: Materials and Procedures for Todays Dental Assistant Authors: Ellen Dietz-Bourguignon I bought the really old edition from amazon so in total i paid less than $40 for all three
