What should I do after my wisdom teeth were taken out?

What if I don't want to get my wisdom teeth taken out?

  • When i first got my braces off 3 years ago, the orthodontist said "we need to remove those wisdom teeth NOW!!" and the dentist seemed to think we could wait till i was 18. Well, I'm 18 now and 2 of my wisdom teeth are about halfway in, they don't hurt at all and they haven't messed up my teeth cause my retainers still fit fine. I don't want to have surgery cause I will be very busy with work and school for quite some time and I kind of like having wisdom teeth, haha. But if the next time I go to the dentist and they say "we really need to take those out" what would happen if I refused?

  • Answer:

They will shift back to there original position or ruin them further. The recovery process is a week- two weeks. I would do it now.
