How do you pass out from alcohol?

When I am drunk, I pass out from exhaustion.. mainly after throwing up for an hour... Never pass out until you get somewhere safe!

Alcohol acts as a depressant for your senses, meaning it impairs your vision, smell, taste, etc. Eventually you reach a point where you no longer have feeling, or your brain is impaired beyond ability to function. This is when you pass out. Blacking out occurs because alcohol impairs your brain's ability to function correctly, meaning it won't "write" your short term memories, so you'll have little memory of what happened. Saying stupid **** is characteristic of being drunk, it varies from person to person on how much you need to have before that happens. I'm so lucky I don't even need to drink to say stupid **** Cheers

alcohol dehydrates you and that is why you feel drunk. when you continue to drink and get more dehydrated your body starts to fatigue and eventually you pass out due to exhaustion. you may not feel tired before this happens because your drunk but your body is working hard to process the alcohol and get you back to normal which takes a lot out of you. blackouts are when you consume enough alcohol that it effects your short term memory. while your blacked out you are fully conscious of the actions you do and decisions you make although they may not be great decisions cause your drunk. you just don't remember because your short term memory has been effected by excess alcohol consumption

You pass out if your body is tired and that's only happens I ur hammered also passing out is like say you sitting on a couch and u imediatly fall asleep without trying and usually u would have to be pretty drunk hope this helps and don't think there's anything wrong with you okay

eerrrrmmmm... to pass out u have to have quite a few drinks... like 14..because alcohol turns into sugar in ur body... and thats what kinda makes u loopy... but when u have a lot of booze... its kinda like having a sugar rush and passing out

You should pass, but it depends on the test itself and why it's being done. You got bombed about a week before the test, and most tests are only looking for heavy alcohol use (ie that day, day before) and illegal drugs. Unless your situation requires you to never have touched the stuff ever, you'll be fine.
