Best language learning systems for 1 year old?

Answer:
Interestingly, several manufacturers af Baby can Read learning systems have or are considering taking them off of the market following studies of toddlers who were exhibiting attention problems due to over stimulation at a young age. The best programs are the ones that use Flash Card character and shape recognition for initial learning. The baby is not really learning to read, just learning how one word looks. \\Probably the best way for a young child to really learn, though, is with parents teaching them phonetics rather than teaching their toddler the alphabet song or the names of the letters of the alphabet (because often the names don’t really sound like the letters in a word). Look into any Montessori method, Waldorf method or phonetics books for children aged 2 and up. I started both of my children with phonetics at age 2 and one was reading at a grade 1 & 2 level at aged 4 and the other a couple of months before his 4th birthday.

I've heard that the best way to teach the baby is by not only talking to him in one language but to expose him to other languages. My relatives for example, speak two languages naturally because their parents were from different countries and exposed their kids to their languages.
