How to write a fan letter?

I've actually written tons of fan letters in my life time and I've noticed that your skill in fan writing progresses over time. A good website is http://www.fanletters.com/ They have fan letter samples and tips that you can follow. I personally recommend sending a fan letter to someone less important first and see how you feel about that letter and then fix the mistakes that you think you made on the letter to improve your next one to Lauren Drummond. I also think that you should compliment her for her acting but not in a mushy "fangirl" like way. Instead, use your wording carefully and make sure that your grammar is correct. If sending by mail, make sure to either print it or have neat handwriting. If sending by computer, then make sure to use spell-check and grammar-check. Make it in paragraph form and to make sure that the paragraphs are sorted by topic. Don't make each paragraph shorter than 3 sentences though because it'll look informal. Sorry if I have bad English. Hi i was thinking about also writing Lauren Drummond a letter (and have for years now , since she inspired me to want to be able to live my dream and ambition as a actor for six -=- seven years now), but not sure what to write / say and how to put it in the right context. I mean she as inspired me to become a actor for six -=- seven years now and she inspires me so much because she is a great actress that i will never give in of living my ambition and my dream to become a actor and hopefully work with her as soon as possible or in the future sometime , hopefully. I was going to write something like Hi , i am a really big fan of yours. I completely and totally respect you and all of your work because you have inspired me for the last six -=- seven years to become a actor and you still do inspire me (everytime i watch you act on tv) and that is why i will never give in at / of living my dream and ambition because your the reason for been a great inspiration to me. I just hope that i can meet and work with you as soon as possible or in the future , hopefully because it would be a real honour and pleasure to do so , if i get the oppertunitie. By the way I think you know one of my friends , who played as a extra in WaterLoo Road (and then i will write his name , see if she knows who i am talking about) All my Love , Will. xox Im like you Karen , i dont want to write a soppy letter saying how much i adore her and then to think im a wierdo , but then again i dont want to write a small one page letter / thing because like you said that would proberly look really pathetic , so im in the same position as you, If you write her a letter and can help me , then i will be really grateful and really appreciate it because i have wanted to write a letter to her for so long but didn't and still dont know what to write , without sounding like someone soppy and pathetic or like a wierdo.
