University application dilemma.

Can the Ontario Universities' Application Centre (OUAC) know if you omitted a university you attended?

  • The OUAC application asks you to list all universities attended with transcripts for each. Can they know if you omit a university you attended that is out-of-province? Many programs assess your GPA based on your TOTAL university academic career, that is, including marks from 15-25 years previous when you may have been a young and unmotivated student. This seems to be an unfair assessment of your true academic capabilities, esp. if your current marks are significantly better. So, if you were to omit a set of marks from an earlier degree received out of province on your OUAC application, is there anyway that the university that you are applying to can find out? According to my research, there is no federal database of grades for all uni students that can be accessed. Thanks
