Which university to choose?

The Catholic University of America, Hofstra University, or George Mason University: Which should I choose?

  • I've been accepted to these three universities and I am having a heck of a time deciding on which one to attend. I plan on studying Anthropology/Archaeology, and any help on deciding would be greatly appreciated. So, if any of you have any reasons why I should choose one of these colleges over the other two, please tell me. Thanks for the help.

    Unless you're absolutely/positively going to professional/graduate school after your undergrad degree, it is a mistake to take Anthropology/Archeology. Your career options will be severely limited. Of the three schools, one legitimate way to rate them is by how much they insist on "comprehensive general education" for all students. By this criteria, ACTA rates the schools as follows: B George Mason C Catholic U of America F Hofstra Hofstra's "F" (utter fail) means students can drift through fours years of Hofstra yet learn nothing of lasting significance.
