What Electric Bike Should I Get?

I'm looking to get a bike for college? What would be the best type of bike?

• I would be using the bike daily but for only for like 5 miles at the most. It's 1 mile to get to my building where classes would be held, 1 mile back to the dorm, and then I guess wherever else I feel like going. Everything is pretty close but parking would be hard to get since its the largest uni in the state, and walking is fine too I guess, but its easier to carry books and a laptop in a bike basket than on my back. The terrain is flat and in a very urban area. I want a bike that is practical. I want one that looks plain and would not be a target of theft, but I don't want a complete junker either. Bikes are not allowed inside the dorms so having to carry them indoors and such is not an issue at all. We have to keep them outside in the bike rack at all times and the university issues bike permits that lists the info in case they get stolen so the uni police can get them back. I don't know how reliable that would be, but whatever. I don't want to go to a yard sale and get a used bike there and get the parts because I don't know what I'm looking for and I don't know anyone that could help me fix the bike up because my mom and I are not mechanics at all. I would rather pay for a 50 dollar walmart bike than get a 15 dollar bike from a yard sale and spend 100 dollars for parts and junks. So yeah, what should I get? I'm thinking about getting a cruiser bike because I love them so much lol

  Don't get anything fancy since you will no doubt have it stolen at some point. Maybe a kid's bike is a good idea.
